We need riders who are ready.
These are non-negotiable. They exist to keep you and your buddy safe.
Age
Minimum 16 years
Experience
Minimum 3 years active kitesurfing
Endurance
Proven ability to kite 2+ hours non-stop
Club membership
Active WWSV-affiliated kite club member
Equipment
Gear no older than 5 years on registration date
Buddy system
Every rider needs a named buddy; mutual safety monitoring throughout
Lycra
Offshore will provide mandatory lycra's for visibility and identification
Communication
Waterproof phone case; phone on person at all times
Self-rescue
Must be able to return to shore independently if unable to continue

Once you secured your spot you will receive a confirmation email with your ticket and an email with information on how to setup your own Fundraising page.

Reach €150 minimum
€150 fundraising target per participant. Share with your network. Every euro goes directly to youth mental health.

We monitor conditions daily and alert all registered riders as soon as a viable wind window opens. If the season passes without conditions, Offshore will find a new window.
Our safety crew patrols the full route. Self-rescue brings you to shore where our support team picks you up.
Yes. Professional safety boats run the route, with land-based teams at start and finish.
The fundraising minimum must be reached before the event date. If you're short, reach out — we'll help you push.
You arrange your own buddy and register together. We can connect solo riders via our community channel.
Side Shore Surfers has dedicated parking. Full details sent two weeks before the event.
We give 48–72 hour notice once the wind forecast confirms.
Offshore supplies the official event lycra to all registered riders. You bring your own kite, bar, board, harness, and wetsuit.
